Creative Hub
At Creative Hub was a pilot project for young people with an aim to introduce children and young people to various art forms. The program took them on a journey to explore visual arts. The children experimented with different materials and researched about collage as a medium. They took inspiration from famous collage artist Kurt Schwitters and created their own artworks inspired by his work. The children worked in small group and the peer learning was an essential part of the creative process. It helped them to navigate freedom of expression, value feedback and develop confidence. The children enjoyed creating portfolios and presenting their works as a of Arts Award Discover certification which added extra value to the program.

“I love the fact that the children were given the liberty to make their own decisions on what they wanted to create. My kids definately enjoyed the course and I was stunned by the themes they chose to work on.”
“Eva enjoyed the Creative Hub a lot! She kept talking about the variety of artworks she worked on and it even inspired her to continue to do some art work at home. She wanted to learn how to draw and had a go at that. Thanks for running the Creative Hub!”
